NEW exciting opportunity has become available at JCU Vet for a General Practice Vet Team Leader to work in our small animal and exotics GP facility. This could be the perfect next step in your career!
If you are a recent graduate but have had really solid exotics experience since commencing practice we would be happy to talk to you. We also encourage applications from far afield as relocation assistance can be negotiated.
JCU Vet is a purpose-built teaching hospital operating General Practice, Emergency and Referral services. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and service focussed small animal Vet with strong experience and a genuine interest in wildlife and exotics. In addition to an established small animal clientele, we have some wonderful opportunities to get hands on with some more unusual patients. This role also provides leadership to our passionate GP team.
Alongside our GP vets we have four super dedicated GP nurses and with onsite access to surgery, medicine, radiology and anaesthesia referral teams we really have the best of all worlds, and we pride ourselves in providing outstanding services and building long term relationships.
Our GP service operates 5 and half days a week within our incredibly well-equipped hospital with in-house access to Digital X-ray, CT scanner, Ultrasound, ECG, and Fluoroscopy.

Salary is negotiable and will include relocation support for the right person, and naturally we have a fantastic continuing education program.
